Record Participation Expected: AI Conf Armenia 2026 as Armenia’s Bid to Become a Global AI Hub

YEREVAN, April 14. /ARKA/. On April 18, AI Conf Armenia 2026 — the largest AI-focused conference in Armenia — will take place in Yerevan, bringing together, for the fourth time, leading experts, scientists, business leaders, and everyone interested in the future of AI in Armenia.

The official countdown was launched following the organizing committee’s final meeting held today. In line with a long-standing tradition in the tech community, the committee leaders — the Rector of Yerevan State University, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan; CEO of the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), Sargis Karapetyan; CEO of Krisp, Artavazd Minasyan; Director of YerevaNN, Hrant Khachatryan; and YSU Vice-Rector Rafael Barkhudaryan — signed the first official poster of AI Conf 2026.

Built around a confirmed agenda, the conference will bring together industry leaders under the roof of the Yerevan State University to reflect on the breakthrough developments in Armenia’s AI sector over the past year. More than 20 leading speakers from both the public and private sectors will take the stage.

Among the keynote speakers is Rev Lebaredian, Vice President at NVIDIA (Omniverse and Simulation Technologies), who will travel from the United States to deliver a talk on “AI Agents and the Token Economy.” NVIDIA is one of the world’s most advanced AI companies and currently the most valuable publicly traded company.

Also among the special guests is Armen Aghajanyan, founder of Perceptron, who will present “The Armenian Doctrine of Artificial Intelligence.”

As in previous years, attendance is free of charge, and a record turnout of around 2,000 participants is expected. The main hall will be dedicated to young scientists, students, tech entrepreneurs, and everyone interested in Armenia’s AI future.

In recent years, Armenia has seen unprecedented growth in supercomputing and GPU infrastructure. If ongoing investment programs continue successfully, the country could rank among the top 10 globally in total computing power as early as next year. The upcoming AI Conf Armenia therefore aims to reflect on this rapid growth and explore how it can best serve national development.
