YEREVAN, April 18. /ARKA/. AI Conf Armenia 2026, the largest conference in Armenia dedicated to artificial intelligence, has kicked off at Yerevan State University.

This year, the key topics of the forum were the development of technological infrastructure, scaling AI solutions using GPUs, and their importance for the country's economy.

The conference, held for the fourth time, brought together leading industry experts, technology companies, researchers, and developers.

YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, welcoming the participants, stated that artificial intelligence has already become part of today's reality, influencing the economy, science, and education.

"Artificial intelligence is not a topic for tomorrow, but a reality of today, changing the economy, science, the nature of the future, and influencing education on a daily basis," he noted.

Sargis Karapetyan, Director of the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), emphasized that the development of machine learning and AI is linked not only to science and technology but also to strengthening Armenia's position globally.
