Armenian businesses actively developing AI, but have not yet mastered basic digitalization, says Jrbashyan
YEREVAN, April 17. /ARKA/. Armenian businesses have already entered a phase of active development of artificial intelligence technologies, but have not yet mastered basic digitalization, said Tigran Jrbashyan, Director of Management Consulting at Ameria and Head of the National Team at Global Entrepreneurship Monitor.
"Businesses in Armenia must first master the basic digital environment: email, websites, and e-commerce," Jrbashyan said in an interview with CivilNet.
According to him, this environment remains largely unfamiliar to established businesses.
"Not to mention AI, which will lead to a dramatic increase in global productivity, and Armenia is already in this process. Among Armenian businessmen, the role of AI is that it is viewed as a source of income," Jrbashyan noted.
Earlier, Matthias Unduraga, Head of Artificial Intelligence for Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Europe, called for embracing AI, learning how to work with it, and changing our mindsets. "You shouldn't be afraid that artificial intelligence will take your job. AI doesn't take jobs, it enhances the capabilities of specialists," Unduraga said at the Doing Digital 2026 (DDF) forum in Yerevan.-0-
