A new Minister of High-Tech Industry has been appointed in Armenia

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan appointed David Tadevosyan as Minister of High-Tech Industry.
YEREVAN, August 3. /ARKA/. Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan appointed David Tadevosyan as Minister of High-Tech Industry. The corresponding decree was published on August 3 on the head of state's official website.
Tadevosyan replaces Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, who has headed the Ministry of High-Tech Industry since December 2023. Tadevosyan is the only new member of the government, while almost all other ministers retained their positions in Nikol Pashinyan's cabinet formed after the parliamentary elections.
Prior to his appointment as minister, David Tadevosyan headed International Radio Network CJSC, a state-owned company under the Ministry of High-Tech Industry. The company provides radio broadcasting and communications services, as well as operates the state telecommunications infrastructure.
Armenia's new government was formed following the parliamentary elections on June 7, 2026, and the inauguration of the ninth National Assembly on August 2.
In accordance with the law, the previous government resigned the day before, after which the parliamentary majority—the Civil Contract party faction—re-nominated Nikol Pashinyan for the post of prime minister. On August 2, the president appointed him head of government, after which the formation of a new cabinet began.
