TUMO center to be built in Armavir

YEREVAN, July 25. /ARKA/. The Armenian government decided to establish a new TUMO Center for Creative Technologies in the city of Armavir, the country’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan reported on Thursday.
Sanosyan noted that approximately 530 million drams (over $1.35 million) will be allocated for this project. The center is expected to be completed by 2026.
The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies was established in Armenia in 2011. It offers free educational programs for teenagers, focusing on IT and modern technology fields such as programming, music, robotics, animation, 3D modeling, filmmaking, photography, game development, graphic design, and drawing.
In 2016, TUMO was ranked first among the world's innovative schools by the French We Demain magazine. The headquarters of TUMO is in Yerevan, with local branches in Gyumri and Dilijan, and international branches in Moscow, Paris, Beirut, Berlin, Tirana, Kyiv, and Los Angeles.
