Armenia, India explore enhanced cooperation in high-tech industry

YEREVAN, August 30. /ARKA/. Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan and Indian Ambassador to Armenia Nilakshi Saha Sinha discussed advancing bilateral cooperation in the high-tech sector, according to the Armenian Ministry of High-Tech Industry.
Hayrapetyan emphasized the rich historical ties between Armenia and India, highlighting the significant potential for future collaboration. He noted that recent developments have showcased ample opportunities to deepen bilateral relations in the field of high technologies.
During the meeting, they explored new avenues for strengthening their partnership, particularly in areas such as digitalization, research and development (R&D), and information technology.
The importance of expanding cooperation between the two countries and implementing joint initiatives in the design and production of microelectronic and semiconductor components was especially underscored.
