YEREVAN, October 6. /ARKA/. The new data center under construction in the town of Abovyan will increase Armenia's competitive advantages, said Minister of High Technologies Industry Robert Khachatryan.

According to him, the center will have regional significance and will become one of the largest centers of this kind in Armenia, giving local companies an opportunity to use the new, modern infrastructure.

According to the press service of the ministry, the total investments into the center until 2030 will amount to 11 billion drams.

The new center, being built by GNC-Alpha telecom operator, will ensure secure data processing and storage, providing cloud services to state institutions and the private sector. In addition, server systems will be installed on the territory of the center, which will give Armenian developers the opportunity to use artificial intelligence tools. -0-
