Rostelecom launches Shant Kids TV Channel in Armenia
YEREVAN, January 21. /ARKA/. Rostelecom is introducing a long-awaited project - Shant Kids TV Channel (#517) - to Armenian TV viewers. The press office of the telecommunication company reports that this is the first round-the-clock TV channel for kids that broadcasts in Armenian language. It will show the best cartoons translated into Armenian language.
"This is a long-awaited TV channel - impressive and safe, with educative content, and it is included in all the price plans of Rostelecom," the telecommunication company says in its press release.
Shant Kids will show Armenian cartoons, contest TV shows, movies for kids and teens, feature-length and short popular cartoons and the whole video library of Soyuzmultfilm, a Russian animation studio based in Moscow.
The company's smart television is constantly broadcasting the highest-rating content, which is regularly being updated and replenished with the best TV channels.
Remarkable is that all the channels of the smart television will be available to all the customers of the company before February 15.
Rostelecom’s Armenian subsidiary GNC-ALFA began promotion and sale of broadband Internet, IP-TV and a new generation of IP-telephony in Armenia under the brand of Rostelecom from 2012 December.
The company’s fiber-optic network covers 80% of the territory of Armenia, extending to more about 3000 km. The network is connected to the main regional backbones and major traffic exchange sites, as well as international channels via Georgia and Iran. --0----
