YEREVAN, September 16. /ARKA/. Ucom CEO Ralph Yirikian met with participants of the 2026-2027 Leadership School and delivered a lecture on "Leadership: Key Principles," the company's press service reported.

During the lecture, Ralph Yirikian discussed the changing role of leadership, decision-making under uncertainty, building trust within a team, and the importance of uniting people around a common goal. He also touched on how digital technologies and artificial intelligence are changing approaches to management and the new demands placed on modern leaders.

"Today, a leader is required to do much more than simply manage processes." “It’s essential to be able to recognize change as it emerges, to be unafraid to reconsider established approaches, and to simultaneously create an environment in which people are willing to take initiative and responsibility,” noted Ucom CEO Ralph Yirikian.

Ralph Yirikian shared his management experience with the participants, emphasizing that while technological advancements are changing tools and work processes, people, responsibility, and trust remain at the core of leadership. He emphasized that during times of change, it’s especially important not only to make the right decisions but also to help the team understand the purpose of those decisions and the role of each individual.

The meeting also discussed real-life business situations and the choices leaders face in management—between long-term goals and short-term results, quick decisions and calculated risks, technological efficiency and the human factor.

“At the Leadership School, we especially value meetings that allow participants to explore leadership not only theoretically but also through real-world experience.” Meeting with Ralph Yirikian was precisely such an opportunity. His experience, way of thinking, and approaches to modern management have become important reference points for the new generation of leaders. "Today, when the environment is rapidly changing, it is especially important to develop leaders who are ready to learn, take responsibility, embrace change, and create positive change for their teams and society," noted Samvel Movsisyan, founder of the Leadership School.

Ucom places great importance on collaboration with educational and professional platforms, as well as the opportunity to share its experience with future leaders. The Leadership School Foundation has been operating since 2009. The organization's mission is to facilitate the development of a new generation of innovative business leaders in the South Caucasus and Persian Gulf regions through collaboration with established local and international leaders, experts, and organizations.
