YEREVAN, May 12. /ARKA/. Information security expert Artur Papyan presented the requirements for enabling YouTube channel monetization in Armenia.
On May 11, YouTube officially launched the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) in Armenia, which allows content creators operating in the country to earn income from videos posted on the platform.
"To access the first level of monetization, a channel must meet a number of minimum criteria," Papyan noted.
Specifically, he said, a channel must have at least 500 subscribers and at least three public posts in the last 90 days.
Furthermore, either at least 3,000 hours of public viewing in the last 365 days or 3 million views of short videos in the last 90 days is required.
The expert noted that these requirements were included in his YouTube channel, which is registered in Armenia.
