The Armenian government has submitted for public discussion draft amendments to the Law "On the Structure and Activities of the Government," proposing the creation of a Ministry of Artificial Intelligence.

YEREVAN, May 11. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has submitted for public discussion draft amendments to the Law "On the Structure and Activities of the Government," proposing the creation of a Ministry of Artificial Intelligence.

"It is expected that upon adoption of the draft, the name of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia will be changed to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry and Artificial Intelligence of the Republic of Armenia—in accordance with the new function assigned to the ministry, namely, the development and implementation of policies for the introduction and development of artificial intelligence and cloud computing services," states the document, published on the Unified Website for the Publication of Draft Legal Acts.

The draft was developed by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia.
