Hundreds of schoolchildren from Tavush, with the support of Team, were given the opportunity to participate in the "Symphonic LessonA" cultural and educational program.
YEREVAN, May 13. /ARKA/. Hundreds of schoolchildren from Tavush, with the support of Team, were given the opportunity to participate in the "Symphonic LessonA" cultural and educational program. The program aims to make classical music accessible and understandable to schoolchildren, foster cultural appreciation, and foster a generation interested in the arts, the company's press service reported.
"Symphonic LessonA" is a long-term educational program launched in 2018 at the initiative of the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia. The program aims to change the traditional perception of classical music, making it more accessible and engaging for teenagers and young adults, and promoting their engagement in cultural life.
Through interactive classes held as part of the program, schoolchildren are introduced to the characteristics of classical music and musical instruments, and are also given the opportunity to attend live concerts, gaining first-hand cultural experience. "Along with supporting educational and regional development programs, we also attach great importance to cultural education and the preservation and transmission of cultural heritage to the younger generation. We are pleased that, together with our long-standing strategic partner, the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia, we have implemented another initiative that promotes youth development, including expanding access to cultural education for children living in Armenia's regions," noted Tigran Frangyan, Commercial Director of Team Telecom Armenia.
"The goal of 'Symphonic Lesson A' is to rejuvenate the classical music audience. The program is especially important for children from the regions and border communities, as it not only develops their imagination, musical taste, and self-confidence, but also provides an opportunity to rediscover classical music, as well as Armenian and world cultural values. Thanks to our collaboration with Team, the program has become available to hundreds of children in the Koghb community, giving them the opportunity to become part of this wonderful cultural movement," notes Tatevik Adamyan, Head of Education at 'Symphonic Lesson A'. Since its launch, the program has been implemented in over 200 schools in the regions and the capital, reaching approximately 73,000 students. Students participated in interactive classes and attended a concert by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.
