Ucom Supports Presentation of "Remember the Animals" Educational Game

With Ucom's support, the environmental NGO SunChild held an interactive educational event dedicated to environmental protection as part of the summer school at the Khnko-Aper National Children's Library, during which it presented a new educational game, "Remember the Animals," the company's press service reported.

With Ucom's support, the environmental NGO SunChild held an interactive educational event dedicated to environmental protection as part of the summer school at the Khnko-Aper National Children's Library, during which it presented a new educational game, "Remember the Animals," the company's press service reported.
During the game, children learned about animal species native to Armenia, while simultaneously developing their memory, attention, and cognitive skills. The goal of the initiative is to spark interest in nature in a playful and accessible way, as well as raise awareness of environmental protection and Armenia's rich biodiversity.
Ucom CEO Ralph Yirikyan also joined the summer school participants in testing the game and discussing environmental topics. "As a green company, it's important for Ucom to support initiatives that help children better understand Armenia's natural environment and recognize their role in preserving it from an early age. Environmental thinking develops when knowledge about nature is presented in a clear and engaging way. Play is one of the most effective tools, as it combines education, communication, and direct participation," noted Ucom CEO Ralph Yirikian.
"Environmental education for children and adolescents is one of SunChild's key activities. The 'Remember the Animals' game is more than just entertainment; it's an opportunity to learn about Armenia's rich biodiversity and its unique animal species from an early age. By learning to love and protect nature through play, children become its future protectors. We are pleased to partner with Ucom, thanks to which we have been able to create a practical and engaging educational tool," emphasized Sona Kalantaryan, President of the environmental NGO SunChild.
Following the event, copies of the game were given to the Khnko-Aper National Children's Library and the participating children, providing them with the opportunity to continue their exploration of Armenia's wildlife after the event.
The initiative is also being implemented as part of awareness-raising activities leading up to the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17). It is planned to print over 500 copies of the game, which will be distributed to children in the Green Zone during COP17.
