"A fake page purporting to be from a supermarket continues to spread on social media. It encourages citizens to participate in a sweepstakes, receive a gift, or take advantage of a special offer," the agency said in a statement.
According to the Cyber Police, the attackers' goal is to gain access to users' personal and banking information and steal their funds.
The agency urged people not to click suspicious links, not to disclose bank card information, passwords, or one-time verification codes, and to verify the authenticity of the page before taking any action.
