Winner of the Armenian State Award for Global Contribution to Humanity through IT will arrive in Armenia on May 10

The recipient of the Armenian State Award 2024 for Global Contribution to Humanity through Information Technology is scheduled to arrive in Armenia on May 10 of this year to accept the award, as reported by Viva.

YEREVAN, May 5 /ARKA/. The recipient of the Armenian State Award 2024 for Global Contribution to Humanity through Information Technology is scheduled to arrive in Armenia on May 10 of this year to accept the award, as reported by Viva.

For fifteen years in a row, Viva has served as the award ceremony's general partner. Synopsys Armenia is the award's initiator  and supporter. The winner of the 15th State Award of the Republic of Armenia for Global Contribution to High Technology will meet with Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Minister of High-Tech Industry, and the faculty and students of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA) during his three-day visit.

The laureate will be awarded an honorary doctorate by the university , a lecture will be organized at a conference at the French College in Armenia, there will be visits to Synopsys Armenia and TUMO as well as a visit to the Japanese Embassy in Armenia.

The visit will conclude with a visit to Vanadzor (COAF SMART Center, Lori) to participate in the "Silicon Mountains 2025" conference and exhibition, where the laureate will deliver a keynote speech. As always, there will be a special stamp exchange for the "Global High-Tech Award" ceremony.

The laureate will also be hosted at Viva’s premises and participate in a joint press conference.
