Nagorno-Karabakh phone numbers with 097 code will be served by Team Telecom Armenia

YEREVAN, October 4. /ARKA/. Armenia's Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) has allowed today Telecom Armenia company to service Karabakh Telecom operator's telephone numbers with the regional mobile code 097.

Thus, all Karabakh Telecom subscribers will keep their numbers and will be able to use all mobile communication services.

"In view of the vital necessity for our compatriots, forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, to have communication, we in cooperation with our colleagues from Karabakh Telecom  were able to provide free Internet and telephone communication to them. This solution is a very important step in terms of security: our compatriots will continue to manage their bank accounts, social network pages, messengers and other applications containing database, being protected from various digital attacks," said Team Telecom Armenia CEO Hayk Yesayan.

The company also informed that in order to use tariff packages specially designed for Nagorno-Karabakh residents or in case of technical problems (SIM-card upgrade etc.) one should visit any Team branch.
