First TUMO center opened in Belgium

The first TUMO center for creative technologies has opened in Liège, Belgium (Wallonia), in collaboration with the development organization GRE Liège and the investment fund Noshaq.
YEREVAN, May 26. /ARKA/. The first TUMO center for creative technologies has opened in Liège, Belgium (Wallonia), in collaboration with the development organization GRE Liège and the investment fund Noshaq.
TUMO Liège is located in one of the city's most famous historic buildings, the neo-Gothic La Grande Poste, according to TUMO's Facebook page. The center will welcome 1,000 teenagers weekly, who will be able to explore generative AI, 3D modeling, animation, filmmaking, game development, music, programming, and robotics.
The opening ceremony was attended by Vice President of Wallonia Pierre-Yves Géolet and Mayor of Liège Willy Demeyer, as well as Armenian Ambassador to Belgium Tigran Balayan and Executive Director of Enterprise Armenia Gohar Abajyan.

The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies opened in Armenia in 2011. The Simonyan Foundation is the founder, brand owner, and operator of the TUMO center network.
Today, there are six TUMO centers and over 40 TUMO Boxes (mobile mini-centers) operating in Armenia, where over 25,000 Armenian teenagers aged 12-18 study subjects such as programming, music, robotics, animation, 3D modeling, filmmaking, photography, game development, graphic design, and drawing, free of charge, using modern technologies.
TUMO's goal in Armenia is to create a nationwide network of 14 centers and 80 TUMO Boxes so that teenagers, regardless of location, can gain modern skills in technology and design.
Outside of Armenia, TUMO centers operate in Europe, including France (Paris, Marseille, and Lyon), Germany (Berlin, Mannheim, Hirscheid, and Lüdenscheid), Portugal (Coimbra and Lisbon), the Netherlands (Amsterdam), Albania (Tirana), as well as the United States (Los Angeles), Japan (Gumma), Argentina (Buenos Aires), and Uruguay (Montevideo).
By the end of 2027, TUMO plans to expand its international network to 30 centers in 15 countries, including new centers in Spain, Angola, Germany, and other countries.
