Greek Intracom Telecom interested in research with Armenia in IT field

YEREVAN, March 5. /ARKA/. Armenian Deputy Minister of High Technology Ruben Simonyan visited the pavilion of the leading Greek telecommunications company Intracom Telecom at the Mobile World Congress 2025 exhibition in Barcelona.
During the meeting with Intracom Telecom Director Kartlos Edilashvili and Commercial Director Kyriakios Vergos, Ruben Simonyan referred to the Armenian Law “On State Support of High Technology Sphere” and presented the ministry's programs and initiatives aimed at the development of the field.
According to the press service of the ministry, the parties discussed the possibilities of conducting joint research and development in Armenia.
Intracom Telecom representatives expressed interest in visiting and getting acquainted with the programs aimed at the development of technological education in Armenian universities and educational establishments, as well as with the “Engineering Campus” program implemented on the basis of public-private partnership.
