Armenian telecom operators announce the launch of eSIM Mobile ID solution

YEREVAN, January 31. /ARКА/. imID announced the launch of the innovative eSIM Mobile ID solution by telecommunications operators Team Telecom Armenia, Ucom and Viva. 

"In order to simplify the procedure for identification and activation of an electronic signature online for citizens, eSIM Mobile ID will be launched in the near future. Before that, Mobile ID can be activated with a physical SIM card of any operator by visiting a service office," the press service of Ucom reported. 

The launch of eSIM Mobile ID marks significant progress in the field of digitalization in Armenia, allowing citizens and business persons to communicate safely and smoothly with the digital world. This service is designed for simpler and more secure online identification and activation of an electronic signature. Citizens can receive their eSIM Mobile ID starting from March 29 by visiting any branch of a telecommunications operator and presenting their ID card. 

This milestone reflects the unified commitment to innovation and accessibility by the imID Council together with Team Telecom Armenia, Ucom, Viva, and 10 banks, bringing Armenia in line with global digital standards. 

Im ID CJSC was founded in Armenia by 10 banks and three telecommunication operators to provide high-quality solutions in the field of online identification, electronic signature and other digital services. imID provides safe and secure electronic services to individuals, organizations and government agencies.
