Picsart, a platform founded by three natives of Armenia, has ranked among the world's most popular mobile applications that actively utilize generative artificial intelligence.

Picsart, a platform founded by three natives of Armenia, has ranked among the world's most popular mobile applications that actively utilize generative artificial intelligence. This is according to the seventh "Top 100 Gen AI Consumer Apps" ranking by the venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z).
The ranking was published on October 5, 2026. For the mobile segment, a16z ranks 50 applications by monthly active users (MAU), based on data from the analytics firm Sensor Tower for August 2026.
The ranking includes products where generative AI forms a significant part of the user experience. The list encompasses both services built around AI from the start and existing applications that have deeply integrated generative AI features.
In addition to the mobile ranking, Andreessen Horowitz compiles a separate top-50 list of web products based on monthly visits, using data from Similarweb. Picsart appears on this list as well.
The study's authors note that only 11 products made their debut in this edition of the ranking—the lowest number across all seven releases. Meanwhile, both general-purpose AI assistants and specialized products for content creation and editing are gaining ground in the market.
