Revenue from the production and broadcasting of TV and radio programs, as well as telecommunications activities, totaled 119,759.7 million drams in January–August 2026, marking a 7.2% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

Revenue from the production and broadcasting of TV and radio programs, as well as telecommunications activities, totaled 119,759.7 million drams in January–August 2026, marking a 7.2% increase compared to the same period in 2025. This was reported by the republic's Statistical Committee.
Revenue for the month of August alone amounted to 15,612.7 million drams, up 7.2% from August 2025 but down 6.8% from July 2026.
Of this total, telecommunications revenue for the eight-month period was 112,054.5 million drams (a 7.6% increase compared to the first eight months of 2025); revenue from TV program production and broadcasting was 6,556.5 million drams (up 1.8%); and revenue from radio program production and broadcasting was 1,148.7 million drams (down 1%).
