The Government of the Republic of Armenia has received the donation of 56 kits from Starlink in preparation for future emergencies. These kits will enable reliable, fast connectivity to respond efficiently during disasters.
This effort was done in collaboration with the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia and Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
The kits have already arrived in Armenia and are planned to be allocated to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia for the needs of the Rescue Service. It will strengthen Armenia’s emergency communication capabilities, particularly during rescue operations, natural disasters, crisis situations, and cases where conventional communication infrastructure may be limited, overloaded, or disrupted.
Starlink is the world’s most advanced satellite constellation in low-Earth orbit, delivering reliable, fast broadband to millions of people around the world. The service plays a critical role in ensuring resilient communication for emergency response teams, especially in remote areas and during critical situations.
This donation builds on the ongoing collaboration between Starlink and the Government of Armenia.
