UATE to open 14 more ArMath labs in Syunik
YEREVAN, Nov. 26. /ARKA/. The Armenian Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) plans to open 14 more ArMath engineering laboratories in Syunik region by the end of this year, as well as the first ArMath in the Air UAV workshop in the town of Kapan.
According to the UATE press service, the laboratories will be founded with the assistance of the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
"Preparatory work is underway with the authorities of more than a dozen villages in Syunik to launch the process of introducing ArMath laboratories in the coming days," said ArMath educational program manager Sedrak Vardanyan.
ArMath educational program has been implemented by UATE since 2011. This model has already gone internationally to Georgia and India and ArMath labs will soon be opened in Bangladesh as well.
At present about 600 ArMath engineering labs are operating in Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh, Georgia and India with about 15 thousand children having free classes. -0-
