TUMO Creative Technologies Center in Kapan to open on March 2

YEREVAN, February 13. /ARKA/. The official opening of a TUMO center in the town of Kapan, the administrative center of Armenia's Syunik marz, will take place on March 2.
The modern educational center for creative technologies will operate in the historic building that used to house the local train station, built in 1932 and recently renovated.
TUMO-Kapan will connect the southern communities in Syunik, including TUMO-boxes in Meghri and Kajaran, providing access to an innovative educational program for 2,000 young Syunik residents.
The center will be fully provided with the necessary equipment and conditions for promoting entrepreneurship in technology and design.
The TUMO-Kapan project is being implemented in partnership with Kapan Municipality, the EU initiative “Sustainable Syunik Team Europe”, and benefactors Judit Sarjan and Victor Zarugian.

The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies was opened in Armenia in 2011, where teenagers aged 12-18 are trained free of charge to work in the IT sphere using modern technologies (programming, music, robotics, animation, 3D modeling, film production, photography, game development, graphic design and drawing).-0-
