Revenues in Armenian communications sector decreased by 1.4% in January-February to AMD 26.3 bln

YEREVAN, April 8. /ARKA/. Revenues in the field of creation and broadcasting of television and radio programs and telecommunications activities in January-February 2025 amounted to AMD 26,308.5 million, decreasing by 1.4% compared to January-February 2024, the National Statistical Committee reports.

In February of this year, the revenues of this sector amounted to AMD 12,852.2 million, which is 1.2% less than in February of the previous year and 4.5% less than in January of the current year.

Of the specified amount, the revenues of the telecommunications sector amounted to 24,666.7 million drams (a decrease of 0.1% compared to January-February 2024), revenues from the creation and broadcasting of television programs amounted to 1,402.4 million drams (a decrease of 14.1%), and revenues from the creation and broadcasting of radio programs - 239.4 million drams (a decrease of 33.3%).
