Prospects for the development of 5G networks and the deployment of 6G in Armenia were discussed during a meeting between Mesrop Mesropyan, Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia, and a delegation from the Chinese company Huawei.
YEREVAN, October 6. /ARKA/. Prospects for the development of 5G networks and the deployment of 6G in Armenia were discussed during a meeting between Mesrop Mesropyan, Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia, and a delegation from the Chinese company Huawei.
Huawei representatives, led by the head of the company's Armenian office, Zhao Hongbo, briefed the meeting participants on trends, specific features, and potential applications of 5G and 6G technologies in international telecommunications markets, the regulator's press service reported.
The parties also discussed the technological modernization of the telecommunications sector, the implementation of innovative solutions, and the adoption of next-generation communication technologies. Commission representatives outlined the steps and programs currently being implemented regarding 5G and 6G.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue professional discussions and cooperation on matters of mutual interest.
