For hundreds of teenagers from Armenia and around the world, summer became an opportunity to gain new knowledge, technological skills, and make new friends: with the support of Team Telecom Armenia, the TUMO 2026 camp took place in Armenia.
YEREVAN, August 31. /ARKA/. For hundreds of teenagers from Armenia and around the world, summer became an opportunity to gain new knowledge, technological skills, and make new friends: with the support of Team Telecom Armenia, the TUMO 2026 camp took place in Armenia.
Over the course of six action-packed weeks, the camp brought together over 200 teenagers from 15 countries and border communities of Armenia, including those displaced from Artsakh, creating an environment where participants combined technological education with quality leisure time.
"It is important to us that technological education opportunities are accessible to as many teenagers as possible, regardless of where they live. This camp project by our strategic partner, the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, creates precisely this environment, combining education, creativity, new experiences, and communication among teenagers from different countries. “We are pleased to support this initiative by enabling children from Armenia’s border communities and families displaced from Artsakh to participate in this experience. We are confident that such programs can not only impart new skills but also inspire teenagers to connect their futures with technology and innovation,” noted Grigory Yurin, Head of Public Relations at Team Telecom Armenia.
During the camp, participants had the opportunity to develop their skills in TUMO educational areas, exploring various areas of technology, design, and creativity. Alongside the educational program, cultural, educational, and entertaining activities were also organized for the teenagers—from exploring historical and cultural sites and landmarks in Armenia to sports and team activities.
As part of their educational visits, this year’s camp participants also visited the Museum of Communications and the Team data center, learning about the history of communications development in Armenia and its technological evolution.
