YEREVAN, October 15. /ARKA/. The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies is expanding its presence in Gyumri: a new "TUMO Box" will be set up in the city to provide teenagers with training in modern technologies.

This initiative is outlined in a memorandum of cooperation signed by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund and the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies. The document was signed by the Fund’s Executive Director, Aramais Avetisyan, and TUMO’s Executive Director, Marie Lou Papazian, according to the Fund’s press service.

The first joint project involves the installation of a TUMO Box in the Mush district, where teenagers aged 12–18 will be able to complete self-study assignments. For hands-on practical sessions, they will visit the main TUMO center in Gyumri, which has been in operation since 2015.

"For TUMO, education is a means of creating new opportunities. Our collaboration with the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund will help make these opportunities accessible to a larger number of teenagers, especially within local communities," stated Marie Lou Papazian.

The memorandum also covers the expansion of educational opportunities across Armenia’s regions, the integration of educational components into community development programs, and the engagement of partners from both Armenia and the Diaspora.
