More than half of Armenia's residents get information from Facebook, according to a survey

YEREVAN, June 20. /ARKA/. Some 53.3% of respondents of a public opinion poll in Armenia said they most often use Facebook to obtain information.

The poll was conducted by Arar Foundation. The findings were unveiled today by the organization's director, Armen Khachikyan.

Some "36.5% of respondents get information from YouTube, 21.9% from Instagram, and 14.9% from TikTok.

Also, some 14.2% found it difficult to answer this question. Some of them do not use social networks as a source of information.

Another 8.5% prefer Telegram, and 0.3% Twitter," Khachikyan said at the presentation of the survey results.

According to him, Facebook and YouTube are more popular among the 35+ age group, while Instagram and Telegram are preferred by people aged 18 to 34.

The telephone survey (using computer-generated numbers) was conducted from May 8 to June 5, 2025. A total of 1,071 people participated in the survey. -0-
