In the first half of 2026, Armenia's telecom revenue saw a 5.7% increase, totaling 87.4 billion drams
YEREVAN, July 8. /ARKA/. The revenue generated from television and radio broadcasting, production, and telecommunications activities from January to June 2026 reached 87,400.8 million drams, marking a 5.7% rise compared to the same period in 2025, as reported by the Statistical Committee.
Additionally, June's revenue hit 14,962.8 million drams, reflecting a 9.1% increase from June 2025 and a 4.7% rise from May 2026.
Breaking it down, the telecommunications sector contributed 81,576.3 million drams over the six months, which is a 5.9% increase from the first half of 2025. Revenue from television program creation and broadcasting was 4,969.7 million drams, up by 2.5%, while revenue from radio program creation and broadcasting fell to 854.8 million drams, a decrease of 0.7%.
