Arminco welcomes arrival of Rostelecom to Armenia

YEREVAN, December 20. / ARKA /. Grigory Saghyan, the technical director of Arminco Internet provider, welcomed the entry of Russian Rostelecom to Armenian telecommunications market saying it is going to give a strong boost to further development of this sector.

"Arminco welcomes the arrival of  Rostelecom  to Armenia.  It is a company that builds high-end  network, " Saghiyan told reporters Thursday.

According to him, the arrival of  Rostelecom will help simplify a  number of procedures and Arminco is going to establish cooperation with it.

GNC-ALFA is the Armenian subsidiary of Rostelecom. Rostelecom plans  to invest about $ 12 million in 2013 to promote its services.

GNC-ALFA, one of the largest telecommunications operators in Armenia, began selling fixed telephony, broadband Internet access  and some time later it will offer also  interactive TV for private users. -0-
