ArmenTel doubles capacity of outbound channel for its unlimited Hi Line 2048 plan subscribers

YEREVAN, November 3. /ARKA/. ArmenTel (Beeline brand) has doubled capacity of its outbound channel for unlimited Hi Line 2048 plan subscribers, the company’s press office reported on Wednesday.

Automatic enlargement of the outbound channel capacity from 512 Kbit/sec to 1024 Kbit/sec for users
of Hi Line Basic 2048 and Hi Line Preferable 2048 services is being carried out step-by-step without any extra payment.

“To cater for the growing demand for Hi Line service we are sequentially developing our infrastructure and enlarging the number of outside backbones,” ArmenTel Director General Igor Klimko said. “The done job enables us to expand the geographic area of this service and double capacity of subscriber channels, laying groundwork for new universal offers.”

Hi-Line is a high-quality and fast Internet connection based on ADSL technology providing fast Internet connection through a telephone line, but leaving this line free for phone calls.

ArmenTel started providing this service in 2007. This service is available in 38 cities in all the provinces of Armenia.
