YEREVAN, May 15. /ARKA/. The Museum of Communications is also joining the museum celebrations this year – on Museum Night, May 16, and International Museum Day, May 18, visitors will be able to explore the entire history of telecommunications in Armenia, according to the Team Telecom Armenia press service.

The museum displays communications equipment used throughout history: the telegraph, radio communication devices, Morse code devices, payphones, and other devices. Visitors will be able to see what communications were like centuries ago and the path taken to today's digital landline, mobile, and internet communications.

"Team, as the national operator and successor to the first telecommunications network in Armenia, lovingly bears the responsibility of preserving the history of communications and passing it on to future generations. Telecommunications in our country have had a truly interesting and multifaceted journey, playing a significant role in the development of technology in Armenia. We present this entire journey at the museum, periodically adding new devices representative of an industry developing at an incredible rate to the exhibition, and we warmly invite everyone to explore the evolution of telecommunications,” notes Grigory Yurin, Head of PR at Team Telecom Armenia.

On the museum's most important days of the year, the Communications Museum promises to provide an interactive and memorable experience: accompanied by a professional guide, visitors will be able to not only examine but also test various devices from decades ago, experiencing technological progress.

The museum is located in the Yerevan Communications Building at 24/1 Azatutyan Street. On May 16, it will be open from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on May 18, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

In addition to holidays, the museum also welcomes visitors interested in the history of communications on other days. Pre-registration is required by calling +374 99 000811 or emailing [email protected]. Admission is free.
