Team and Ericsson signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation
YEREVAN, March 20. /ARКА/. Team Telecom Armenia and Ericsson have signed a memorandum of understanding for strategic cooperation. With the introduction of the latest equipment and technologies from Ericsson, the company is embarking on large-scale work to modernize its mobile network.
This year, Team Telecom Armenia will upgrade its base stations with next-generation equipment, which will provide broader and more reliable mobile coverage. At the same time, by implementing new network and server solutions from Ericsson, the company will significantly increase the bandwidth and speed of mobile internet, ensuring stable and high-quality communication for its subscribers.
"This strategic partnership follows a period of productive collaboration, which has resulted in the introduction of the latest technological solutions from the industry giant to our country," said Hayk Yesayan, CEO of Team Telecom Armenia. He added that, as a result of this re-equipment, the company will be well-prepared for the smooth rollout of next-generation technologies and a 5G network in the near future.
Under the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in a range of strategic areas: the development and deployment of 5G technologies and advanced telecommunications solutions, enhancing network security and efficiency, promoting knowledge exchange and innovation, and ensuring compliance with national and international regulations.

In 2025, Team Telecom Armenia plans to make capital investments exceeding 10 billion drams in the development of its mobile network. It is also noteworthy that the company will continue building its unique NGN (Next Generation Network) fiber-optic network, which serves as a reliable underground backbone for the mobile network.
