Revenue in the communications sector in Armenia in January fell by 1.7% to 13.5 billion drams

Revenue from the creation and broadcasting of television and radio programs, as well as telecommunications activities, in January 2025 amounted to 13,456.2 million drams, which is a decrease of 1.7% compared to January 2024 and a 8.7% decrease compared to December 2024.

YEREVAN, March 7. /ARKA/. Revenue from the creation and broadcasting of television and radio programs, as well as telecommunications activities, in January 2025 amounted to 13,456.2 million drams, which is a decrease of 1.7% compared to January 2024 and a 8.7% decrease compared to December 2024. This was reported by the National Statistical Committee of the country.

At the same time, compared to December:

Of this total, revenue from the telecommunications sector in January of this year amounted to 12,540.0 million drams (a decrease of 0.1% compared to January 2024), revenue from the creation and broadcasting of television programs amounted to 801.2 million drams (a decrease of 14.4%), and revenue from the creation and broadcasting of radio programs amounted to 115.0 million drams (a decrease of 37.9%).
