Revenue in the communications sector in 2024 increased by 2.8% to 167 billion drams

YEREVAN, February 7. /ARKA/. Revenue in the field of creation and broadcasting of television and radio programs, as well as telecommunication activities, amounted to 166,991.1 million drams in 2024, marking an increase of 2.8% compared to 2023. This was reported by the National Statistical Committee of the country.

In December of last year, the revenue of this sector totaled 14,743.4 million drams, showing a growth of 0.2% compared to December of the previous year and an increase of 3.7% compared to November of the same year.

Revenue in the telecommunications sector for the reporting year reached 154,493.3 million drams (a 3.7% increase). Revenue from the creation and broadcasting of television programs was 10,656.6 million drams (a decline of 2.1%), while revenue from the creation and broadcasting of radio programs amounted to 1,841.2 million drams (a decline of 27.2%).
