YEREVAN, October 16. /ARKA/. International cloud provider RUVDS has entered the Armenian market.
"RUVDS's portfolio has now been expanded with a computing power platform in Armenia. This marks the company's eighth location outside of Russia," the company stated on its Telegram channel.
RUVDS stated that Armenia is one of the countries with a special relationship with Russia, and entering the local market reflects the interests of both parties. Armenia is a focus for both companies with Russian roots and local users interested in accessing high-quality IT solutions.
"The server equipment has been deployed and commissioned at the OVIO data center. This is the largest and most advanced infrastructure facility of its kind in Armenia. It is located in the city of Abovyan in the Kotayk region, 20 km from Yerevan," the company noted.
The OVIO data center fully complies with RUVDS requirements. It has a total capacity of 2 MW, supplied by two diesel generators. It is connected to two independent city power grids and equipped with a Schneider Galaxy VL UPS system with an N+1 redundancy scheme, ensuring stable operation even in the event of a power failure. The center is equipped with modern cooling systems that maintain optimal temperatures in the data rooms.
RUVDS is an international cloud provider offering virtual servers (VPS/VDS) based on Linux and Windows for rent in 19 international data centers worldwide.
