YEREVAN, December 3. /ARKA/. Each citizen of Armenia will receive a free email to communicate with the government, the head of staff at the government David Sargsyan said Monday presenting “Armenia: a systematic development of electronic management.”

“Armenia, a systematic development of electronic management” program  is financed by the European Union and valued at 1.3 million euros. It will be implemented within the two years.
According to Sargsyan, via their emails the citizens will receive notifications and messages from the state bodies, and vice versa.

He said seven new electronic management systems will be rolled out in Armenia in 2012-2014.
Particularly, the projects will be directed to national archives digitizing, registry office electronic registration, electronic statistical reports system, healthcare electronic system targeted at creating the single  database about patients. Construction permits will also be received via electronic management.

“Electronic consulate roll-out will be very important for Armenia’s citizens. Due to the system, the citizens will be able to extend their passport valid period within 15 minutes instead of a day as it is currently done,” he added.

Sargsyan also noted within 2008-2012, 15 electronic management systems had been introduced in Armenia, starting from the electronic signatures systems and ending with electronic document exchange and ID cards.

Currently, 12,000 ID cards have been already introduced. As a result, the citizens will receive electronic signatures and will enjoy the services online. The ID card will contain the medical history of its owner, that will also regulate the  state financial aid and insurance premiums payment. —0-
