Subscriber base of the Armenian company VivaCell-MTS is 2.22 million
YEREVAN, December 3. /ARKA/. Subscriber base of Armenian company VivaCell-MTS is 2.22 million as of October 31, 2010 versus 2.04 million as of October 31, 2009 (growth by 8.9%), press-secretary of Open JSC “MTS” Irina Osadchyan informs.
Only in October the growth was 1.2% (or about 30 thousand).
Consolidated number of subscribers of Open JSC “Mobile TeleSystems” is 100.3 million as of October 31, 2010 versus 97.16 million as of October 31, 2009.
Consolidated subscriber base of MTS was increased by 260 thousand.
In Russia the number of subscribers is 69.09 million (increase by 0.3% compared with October 31, 2009), in Ukraine – 18.23 million (increase of 2.8%), Uzbekistan – 8.37 million (21.3%), Turkmenistan – 2.4 million (52.3%) and Belarus – 4.66 million (3.3%).
VivaCell-MTS (CJSC K-Telecom), affiliate of Open JSC “Mobile TeleSystems” is the leading mobile communication operator in Armenia providing large specter of voice services and data transfer.
