VivaCell-MTS launched the first telephone with trade mark “MTS 236” in Armenia
YEREVAN, February 12. /ARKA/. VivaCell-MTS launched the sale of first mobile telephone in all service centers of Armenia with trade mark “МТС 236” which costs 11900 drams.
This model was developed by Chinese corporation ZTE for the company Vodafone with the brand MTS and will be sold by both operators in the frames of strategic partnership agreement between the companies.
VivaCell-MTS plans to use all its sale centers for the development of own network of retail trade. Such an approach of dissemination of telephones is important for attraction of potential subscribers and increase of their number who use different services. It also strengthens competitive advantage of the company.
The telephone is designed in classic style with colored screen, polyphonic melodies, lantern and all opportunities for daily contacts.
Mobile phone “MTS 236” applies only SIM cards of VivaCell-MTS. Service centers provide also guarantee service for one year.
“We will continue enlargement of assortment of available telephones. They are envisaged for people with average income who need simple mobile communication. The given telephone is convenient for pensioners, students and pupils of high classes. Being an international operator which combines world experience and local peculiarities, VivaCell-MTS uses its brand. Today we introduced the first telephone “MTS 236” in the market. In the nearest future we will make similar proposals for satisfaction of different segments of mobile market”, said Ralf Yirikyan, general Director of VivaCell-MTS.
