Armenian provider Arminco lost dominant positions in the market of data transfer

YEREVAN, December 28. /ARKA/. Armenian provider Arminco lost dominant positions in the market of data transfer.

During the meeting on Monday, Committee on the Protection of Economic Competition of Armenia discussed the issue of results in the market of data transfer. According to the studies, decision was carried out on removing the company from the list of companies having dominant position, as the company lost its dominant positions in the market of data transfer.

The company Arminco provides services of access to Internet since 1992. The company has local optic-fiber network with the capacity of 1 Gbit/sec.

It provides services of access to Internet by DialUP, DSL, as well as by wireless connection and optic via WiFi technologies. Arminco is a certified partner of “Microsoft” and conducts Network Information Centre of domain, AM - AMNIC and national register Electronic Numbering (ENUM).--0—
