Summer SpaceCamp-2021 starts in Armenia
YEREVAN, August 30. /ARKA/. The summer SpaceCamp-2021 started in Armenia on Sunday at the COAF SMART center in Lori region.
The camp is an initiative of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry with funding from the Hayas NGO and the Children of Armenia Foundation (COAF) in cooperation with the Armenian Association of Rocket Modeling.
The head of the camp Mary Zakaryan noted at the opening ceremony that the goal of SpaceCamp-2021 is to use the scientific potential of Armenia to promote career guidance of future students with exceptional knowledge in the field of space science, as well as to involve them in international projects.
The event will last until September 1; the participants are the winners and medalists of international and national school Olympiads in physics, computer science, astrophysics, mathematics, as well as students of robotics and programming courses of COAF and ArMath laboratory from Javakhk (Georgia).
Camp participants will be able to combine theoretical and practical classes, learn new information in a number of areas of astronomy, space technology and cosmology through intellectual games. - 0—
