YEREVAN, December 11. /ARКА/. Cisco, a worldwide leader in IT, networking and cybersecurity solutions is ready to cooperate with Armenian users and also help build a data center in Armenia. The company is also ready to train local IT specialists.

An accord to that end was reached on December 10 by Armenia's Deputy Minister of High Technology Industry Armen Abroyan and Cisco Regional Director for the CIS Sergey Martynchuk.
The Armenian ministry quoted Martynchuk as saying that Cisco has extensive experience and is ready to expand mutually beneficial cooperation with Armenia.

During the meeting, options for cooperation and exchange of experience were also discussed, in particular, the possibility of introducing 5G broadband and the Internet of things, cybersecurity, and interaction in technological educational programs.

Cisco is an American multinational company that develops and sells network equipment intended primarily for large organizations and telecommunications enterprises. It is one of the world's largest companies specializing in high technology.
