ArmSec 2022 Cybersecurity Conference to Be Held in Yerevan
YEREVAN, Nov. 22. /ARKA/. The 9th annual ArmSec 2022 cybersecurity conference will be held in Yerevan on December 18.
The conference aims at strengthening cybersecurity community in Armenia and discussing the latest issues of the sector, the Facebook page of the event reads. Speeches of leading Armenian and foreign experts, presentations, round tables and master classes are planned.
The main topics are:
* Participation of the Armenian cybersecurity community in the digital transformation of the private sector and e-gov/gov-tech
* Protection of Armenia's critical infrastructures from cyber attacks
* Public awareness of information security issues
* Incorporating cyber security into the education system
* Public sharing of information about cyber attacks
* Ransomware attacks on Armenian corporations: possible protection solutions and impact
* ART attacks on Armenian governmental and private organizations
* Cybersecurity risks and cryptography in blockchain systems.
The conference is the initiative of ArmSec Foundation (it conducts courses, seminars, scientific conferences and other projects related to IT development, information and cybersecurity) and OWASP Yerevan (a professional association for global companies, open to all those interested in information about software security). -0-
