Armenia's communications sector revenue up 3.1%, exceeding 152 billion drams

YEREVAN, January 15. /ARKA/. Revenue in the creation and broadcasting of television and radio programs, as well as telecommunications activities, amounted to 152,247.8 million drams in January-November 2024, reflecting a 3.1% increase compared to the same period in 2023, according to the National Statistical Committee of the country.
In November 2024, sector revenue reached 14,220.5 million drams, marking a 2.4% increase compared to November 2023, but a 2.4% decrease compared to October 2024.
Revenue from telecommunications services for the ten months totaled 141,061.1 million drams (a 4% increase), from television program creation and broadcasting it was 9,517.5 million drams (a 2.7% decrease), and from radio program creation and broadcasting, it was 1,669.2 million drams (a 26.6% decrease).
