Spyur information company’s yellow pages available on mobile phone version

YEREVAN, June 24. /ARKA/. The Yellow Pages of Armenia business catalogue of Spyur Information Company is now available on the mobile phone version, said Ashot Grigoryan, director of the company.

Over 2,700 companies have been listed in the mobile phone version of the Yellow Pages of Armenia.

The new program enables mobile phone users to search the database for companies and find necessary telephone numbers.

“This is the first serious program for mobile phones in Armenia, with all organizations in the Spyur Register being listed in it,” Grigoryan added.

Information available on the mobile database is updated with the Spyur Business Directory and a three-language disc.

With only telephone numbers available in the mobile version of the Yellow Pages, the company will include additional information in it. The search engine helps find a company by typing first two letters, displaying 10 companies at a time.

“To download the program, the mobile phone must be Java-supported and have at leas 200 KB memory,” Grigoryan was quoted as saying.

The program may be downloaded from Spyur’s website, or by sending a message to the company. Those registered in Spyur will get the program and updates on CDs. The program can be forwarded to other users.

Smart Systems has assisted Spyur in developing the program.
