Armenia to launch unified electronic notification system for citizens and organizations

YEREVAN, November 4. /ARKA/. Armenia is set to implement a comprehensive electronic notification system for individuals, legal entities, and individual entrepreneurs. The parliament approved the necessary amendments to the law "On Public and Individual Notification via the Internet" during its second and final reading on Thursday. 

In particular, individuals will have the option to receive notifications through a platform that requires identification via an ID card or phone number. If they are inactive, notifications will be sent by mail (hybrid system) or publicly posted on the website azdarar.am. 

The notification will be deemed delivered on either the third or seventh day, depending on the selected method. Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs will receive their notifications through the tax reporting system, following a similar delivery and public posting process. The government will outline the operational procedures and technical specifications of the system.-0-
