Almost all schools in Armenia connected to internet now

Of the 1,437 schools functioning in Armenia, 1,435 have access to Internet, said Nelli Bagdasaryan, chief of the National Statistical Service's statistics and social affairs division.
YEREVAN, August 26. /ARKA/. Of the 1,437 schools functioning in Armenia, 1,435 have access to Internet, said Nelli Bagdasaryan, chief of the National Statistical Service's statistics and social affairs division.
“Now almost all the schools of Armenia enjoy access to Internet,” she said.
Baghdasaryan said that schools in the country had 20,500 computers in 2014 against 13,000 in 2009 - some 14 computers per one school, on average, and one computer for 17 school students. ----0----
