ABBYY Lingvo X5 offers four armenian dictionaries
YEREVAN, September 14, / ARKA /. ABBYY Lingvo x5, the next generation of comprehensive translation dictionary software, includes already the Armenian-English, English-Armenian and Armenian-French and French-Armenian dictionaries thanks to cooperation between VivaCell-MTS, Armenia’s largest mobile provider and the Moscow-based ABBYY company.
"Thanks to cooperation of VivaCell-MTS and ABBYY, Armenian-speaking users will be able to learn foreign languages with the help of this electronic dictionary", VivaCell-MTS CEO, Ralph Yirikian, told journalists. He said the new electronic dictionary contains 5,560,000 articles and illustrations, exercises, and video tutorials.
Vice-President of ABBYY, Aram Pakhchanyan, said the Armenian language dictionaries, based on Eastern Armenian version are able to recognize words in Western Armenian and old Armenian language Grabar.
Since the official start of sales, for one year the dictionary on DVD will be sold only at VivaCell-MTS service centers at 17, 000 drams.
