YEREVAN, February 23, /ARKA/. VivaCell-MTS, a subsidiary of “Mobile TeleSystems” OJSC said today it has introduced the new “MTS Connect Diamond” USB modem with up to 14.4 Mbps download and up to 5.76 Mbps upload capacity (the actual speed of data transfer while using the modem also depends on the network capacity in given location).
The price of the modem is AMD 30000 (including VAT). And in case of a one-year subscription to “MTS Connect Unlimited” or “MTS Connect Unlimited+” tariff plan, the “MTS Connect Diamond” modem is provided absolutely free of charge.
VivaCell-MTS entered Armenia in 2005. Eighty percent of its shares are owned is by Russian MTS company and 20% by a Lebanese Fattouch Group. ($1 – 364,82 Drams). -0-
